Janusz Władyczak
President and CEO
Janusz Władyczak has extensive experience gained in financial institutions, both in Poland and abroad.
Previously, he served as Director of the Investment Products Department at PKO TFI where he was responsible for setting out the product strategy for investment funds, creating and implementing investment and savings solutions offered to customers on the Polish market.
During his work at a financial institution in Austria he implemented structured investment products for private and retail banking customers, as well as derivatives in the form of certificates and warrants listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. At French investment banks he was responsible for the relations and for concluding transactions with the largest enterprises and financial institutions from the former Soviet states, such as Russia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.
He was also responsible for securing bilateral loans running into millions, structured and syndicated credits and export finance transactions, co-operating with the largest export credit agencies (ECAs) in the world. He also dealt with a wide spectrum of transactions in the capital market.
He graduated from ESCP European School of Management in Paris. He also studied at Vienna University, at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies forming part of Geneva University, as well as at the Asian Institute of Technology in Bangkok.
He likes to spend his free time actively. He particularly enjoys snowboarding, kayaking and tennis. His passion is travel.

Katarzyna Kowalska
Vice-President
An experienced leader in the finance, insurance, and digital transformation sectors, since 2016 Katarzyna Kowalska has been part of KUKE S.A., where she serves as Vice President of the Management Board. She is responsible for key areas including risk management, operational processes, IT, and organizational development.
She holds a strong academic background in economics (Poznań University of Economics) and has completed prestigious executive education programs at the University of Oxford and INSEAD — all with distinction. Additionally, she studied the international business environment at the London School of Economics.
She is active in the international arena — as Chair of the Short-Term Committee at Berne Union, she represented the credit insurance sector globally. Her leadership was also recognized in the esteemed Fortune–U.S. Department of State Global Women’s Mentoring Program.
Earlier in her career, she worked as a Business Developer at SIBS INTERNATIONAL, where she was responsible for business development in Central and Eastern Europe, leading digital payment projects for banks and financial institutions.
She specializes in building effective organizational development strategies in dynamic market conditions and implementing digital innovations.

Bartłomiej Opaliński
Vice-President
Doctor of Law, legal adviser. He gained managerial experience, amongst other roles, as a member of the management board at PZU Zdrowie and as vice-chairman of the management board at PZU Centrum Operacji. He also served on supervisory boards, including that of Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego as deputy chairman, and at Elektrociepłownia Ciechanów Sp. z o.o. as chairman.
Since 2011, he has been an academic lecturer holding the post of Assistant Professor at Łazarski University in Warsaw in the Department of Administrative and Constitutional Law. He has also lectured at other universities, including Kozminski University and the Helena Chodkowska University of Technology and Economics. At Łazarski University, he served as the Dean’s representative for legal traineeships at the Faculty of Law and Administration (2015–2022) and as Director of the Institute of Law Enforcement Agencies (since 2018).
For many years, he has combined teaching with professional practice in a range of both public and private organisations. Between 2012 and 2015, he worked as a specialist at the Case Law Office of the Supreme Administrative Court, and between 2017 and 2024 he served as a member of the Commission for the Reprivatisation of Warsaw Property.
He has developed training programmes for local authorities and professional bodies, including barristers and solicitors. He has delivered lectures to trainee notaries at the Notarial Chamber in Warsaw. He has served as an examiner in professional examinations, including the bar exam and the examination for candidates applying for a licence as a restructuring adviser.
He is the author of four standalone monographs and over a hundred other academic publications.
In his private life, he is passionate about an active lifestyle. He enjoys the gym, cycling, kitesurfing and long mountain hikes. In his spare time, he enjoys travelling, discovering new places and reading good books (not necessarily on academic topics).
